We'll Get to Know You

From our first meeting, we focus on you, your family and your lifestyle. We look at how you use your home on weekdays, weekends, and for entertaining. We look at simple things like who prepares the meals, and how engaged in the process the family likes to be. We learn how you use your home during the major holidays, and whether you have family members or friends who are regular visitors, whether you have children at home or at college, keep pets, or have family members who work from home or have hobbies with special space needs.

We'll consult with you on the types of materials that blend with your home as well as learn about your likes and dislikes by listening closely to you. We look for ways to add special enhancements to your home, such as comfort, color, light, flow, usable space and of course, special atmosphere. Together with you, we create a wish list, define the scope of your project and set a realistic budget.

Drafting & Design

Our Drafting and Design capabilities combine artistic ability with the engineering required to assemble the building on paper. We work closely with our clients to deliver their wishes, desires, wants and needs.

The Design/Build Team

Our team begins by developing a program of managing the priorities for a project. Typically, we are challenged to achieve a balance between competing priorities regarding costs; conditions that cannot be changed, but can be managed (such as site conditions and building size requirements); and all of the specific lifestyle issues important to our customers.

Then, we begin to develop the basic format for the architecture. After a preliminary site plan and floor plan have been established, interior layouts and specifications are evaluated and developed.

Budgeting & Estimating Phase

It is during this phase of the process that we work with our clients to jointly develop the budget for the project. We work together during the project to confirm that the project as designed meets the financial and scheduling goals set at the onset of the project. It is not until the bid process is complete that the construction documents can be considered complete. Throughout the process, line items may be added or deleted as appropriate or necessary in order to fine tune the desired budget and develop a time-frame acceptable to our customers.

Interior Design Team

The interior design of your home is a follow-through of the exterior design. Providing you with Peace Of Mind through textures, colors, and patterns which bring to life the home environment is the icing on the cake. We partner with a team of licensed interior designers, who will work with you throughout your interior design process as needed.

At this point in the process, we will develop and finalize the full set of plans. Your project's drawings will include all of the specifications, floor plans, elevations and design selections. Once you approve your drawings and the budget is finalized, we go to work obtaining the appropriate construction and building permits.

Project Management

After we obtain the appropriate building permits, together we will be on our way to making your dream a reality. Before building begins, the project manager will explain the process and answer any questions. Your project manager will meet with you regularly to make sure that your construction project is running smoothly and that everything is being done to the detailed specifications.

Construction and Interior Finishes

It is during this phase of the project that the construction team takes over and becomes responsible for the detailed direction provided by architectural plans and the construction documents, and makes the project really begin to take shape. As the ProBuildTeamSM begins installing and applying the interior finishes, the visual beauty of the project really comes through. The interaction of style, finishes, materials, colors and textures, once only visualized through small samples, now takes on the personality of our client.

Subcontractor Management

One of the significant differences between our company and most others is that we primarily use our own in-house teams of professional craftsmen and technicians. On certain unique aspects of a project, we may use professional subcontractors as an extension of our team. Typically, we only use subcontractors that we have worked with for years. These long-term relationships are based on excellent work, top-notch professionalism, and the proven ability to meet our schedule.

On Time & On Budget

We achieve project success by carefully tracking the construction progress, schedule and costs. Regular project meetings and interaction with the construction supervisor keeps our projects on schedule. Getting you in your new home is a huge priority for us, and we can't wait to see the moving trucks unloading in front of your home.

Completing Your Home Construction Or Renovation

As your construction nears completion, your project manager will take you on a final walk though. At this point any concerns you have will be noted and resolved prior to finishing your project. We love getting all of those little details right!
