The planning/permitting process takes the majority of time in a kitchen project. Depending on the complexity of your project it may take up to two months from conception to beginning construction. Once construction begins it may take from two to four weeks, again depending on the complexity of the project. Be prepared to eat out frequently or make alternate cooking arrangements during construction.

How much will a kitchen remodel cost?
alt
We serve a variety of price points. Most industry professionals recommend the kitchen project be in the range of 12-15% of the value of the home. Variables include quality of construction on the cabinets, type of counter tops, moving walls, appliances, etc. If pricing is a factor, please tell your designer which features are most important, so we can get the kitchen you will love at the price that is reasonable.

alt
Why is there so much price variance on granite?
alt
Granite is an igneous rock found around the world in different colors and patterns. Some granites have higher quartz contents making them more durable (and more expensive) while others are mined by hand in countries with lower labor rates. Rare colors, such as blues and reds, will often fetch a higher price than greens and golds. .

alt
Is granite hard to care for?
alt
Most granite styles are fairly easy to care for. If they have not had a permanent sealer applied at the factory, you should seal annually using a food safe counter top sealer.
